He is a Hindu prince from Sumatra. He converted to Islam in 1414 and adopted the title of Sultan. Parameswara [2] was a Malay ruler who originally came from Palembang, he did spent his entire life for five years in Singapore, and then was driven away and suddenly founded Malacca around years of 1400. Malacca was also growing into an entrepot hub for traders from India, Arabia, China. Many Chinese migrants settled here during this time, establishing the Peranakan culture for the future. He died in 1424 and was succeeded by his son. Moreover, Siamese attempted to conquer Malacca, but unfortunately their efforts were repelled successfully.
