China Mosque
" Malacca Chinese Mosque "[6] the third Chinese style mosque in Malaysian after the ones in Kelantan and Perak. It was develop by the Malacca Chinese Muslim Association. This mosque was completed in April 2014. Why I choose this mosque compared others mosque in Malacca because of the uniqueness interim of the structure. At first, I thought that it's like a temple for buddhist races, as we can see there are pagodas design. In addition, this mosque is designed with an unique Chinese architecture with pagodas and Chinese calligraphy from a combination of architectural design of some mosques in Beijing and Shanghain in China. The mosque is equipped with the main prayer hall, library, multipurpose hall, offices and also restaurants. Moreover, the most things that make me attract with this mosque is it's like other mosque which is can perform our Friday prayer but is delivered in Mandarin language. IT'S SOUND INTERESTING!!! I never heard before this and for boys especially you can come and feel the new environment.

MENARA TAMING SARI
Taming Sari Tower [5] officially opened for business on the 18th of April 2008, the first and only gyro tower in Malaysia. Measuring 110 metres in height, its revolving structure offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Malacca town and beyond. Located in the popular district of Bandar Hilir on Jalan Merdeka, only 3 minutes walk from Mahkota Parade Shopping Complex. Actually, the tower is named after the Taming Sari keris, a mythical weapon said to possess mystical powers belonging to the legendary Malay warrior, Hang Tuah. Even the structure’s design follows the shape of the keris, with the peak of the tower resembling the its hilt. Built using advanced Swiss technology, the tower’s structure is reportedly tough enough to withstand earthquakes measuring up to 10 on the Richter scale. Able to accommodate 80 people per viewing session, which lasts about 7 minutes, the glass cabin hypnotically revolves as it rises from the ground to the top of the tower. Once it reaches the top, we can have a breathtaking, sprawling view of Malacca.
Malacca Attraction
I bet there are a lot of tourist loves to come here not because of to know the history of the existent this building but just want to snap a photo and sometimes they just having a picnic here. Basically, A’Famosa built in 1511, the settlement used to sprawl across a whole hillside but now only a lone gate that called (Porta de Santiago). Moreover, A’Famosa [4] is Malacca’s best known sightseeing spot. It's an originally constructed by Alfonso de Albuquerque (who led the Portuguese invasion on the Malacca Sultanate), the remains of the fort is now a crumbling whitewashed gatehouse and is located downhill from St. Paul’s Church. In the 16th century A’Famosa housed the entire Portuguese administration, including its hospitals, five churches, elongated stockades and four key towers. One tower was a four-storey keep and the others were an ammunition storage room, captain’s residence and an officer’s quarters.
Best place for Nyonya food :P
Nancy’s Kitchen the only Nyonya restaurant in Malacca that still cooks the old way, with pork. Thus, I don't suggest to all of you to go here because they cook Non- Halal food and it's just an unique information to share because i love to see the decoration of this restaurant. This restaurant has attract many local people and also the foreigners to come and dine-in to try all the dishes all the day even on a Sunday, this little place is busy. in term of the dishes, all the Nyonya classics are there, as well as Chinese and Malay options should you fancy it.
As your information, the most popular among customer which is from Singapore and also Kuala Lumpur, they choose to have a Popiah, a giant, vinegary spring roll, packed with pickled veg, tofu, chilli and spices very moreish, especially with Nyonya pickles on the side.
Next? Curry Dabel which is stand for Devil Curry. The dishes is signature of Malacca’s Portuguese community. for the ingredients they used Vinegary, tangy, replete with chilli, peppercorn and fresh spices, and studded with potatoes and carrots.
The last most popular dish in Nancy's Kitchen is Ayam Buah Keluak or black nut chicken curry. Actually, buah keluak is a large, rocky solid nut that grows on kepayang trees in the mangroves and is poisonous unless correctly prepared. It gives the whole affair a subtly mushroomy, earthy, lightly bitter flavour that balances the curry spices perfectly. All these 3 popular dishes are still got a higher demand from customer because of the original tastes.
Hot Food Hunting Places in Malacca ;D
One of the famous food that's only available in Malacca is the Chicken Rice Ball. They already have 3 branches around the city, and there are 2 branches along the Jonker street while the remaining one located in Jalan Bendahara. Actually they are traditional restaurant in Malacca. First that came in my mind what was make this restaurant very popular among tourist and also local people, and finally I had found the best answer which is Chicken Rice Ball priced at RM0.50 each. For me it's very cheap price compared to another foods. Next, the ingredients of Chicken Rice Ball, normally they used same rice that's used in chicken rice dish, but what make it looks different is it turns into round shape. Can you guess why they make into round shape? The reason why people purposely shaped the rice into round shape because they want to retain the warmness of the rice within the ball and also for conveniency to carry it to work. So, for a person like me who loves to eat, i will order around 5-6 balls and it's only cost for RM 2.50 - 3.00. Last from me, it's very affordable and you guys should try it when you come to Malacca because of small price to pay for a special food!!!!
Culture in Malacca :)
Peranakans [3] are descended from Chinese migrants who first came to Malacca many centuries ago. Adopting Malay customs and cultures, theirs is a unique heritage unlike any other. Peranakans are also referred to a 'Straits Chinese'.It is still a subject of debate whether the Peranakans actually intermarried with the local Malay population or maintained a pure bloodline, but most are said to be of Hokkien ancestry. 'Babas' refer to male Peranakans while 'Nyonya' refer to females. Other than Malacca, Peranakans also settled in Penang. In terms of dressing, the women wear traditional Malay costumes, which is 'Baju Kebaya' a form of blouse woven with silk. Moreover, the Peranakan's most famous legacy is Nyonya food, a fusion of Malay ingredients with Chinese cooking styles. Some of the most popular dishes include 'Belacan', 'Assam Laksa', 'Cendol' and 'Kuih Talam'. Peranakans speak a dialect of the Malay language called 'Baba Malay' which has some elements of the Hokkien language. Their most notable musical entertainment form is the 'Dondang Sayang' where Babas and Nyonyas exchanged poems in a humorous style, accompanied by a violin, and traditional instruments such as Rebana and Gong.
History of Malacca ;)
ASSALAMUALAIKUM. Are you ever heard about the history of Malacca? And when Malacca was found by Parameswara? So, today I would like to share an interesting knowledge about Malacca in the 14th century actually Malacca was just another fishing village until it attracted the attention of of Parameswara. He is a Hindu prince from Sumatra. He converted to Islam in 1414 and adopted the title of Sultan. Parameswara [2] was a Malay ruler who originally came from Palembang, he did spent his entire life for five years in Singapore, and then was driven away and suddenly founded Malacca around years of 1400. Malacca was also growing into an entrepot hub for traders from India, Arabia, China. Many Chinese migrants settled here during this time, establishing the Peranakan culture for the future. He died in 1424 and was succeeded by his son. Moreover, Siamese attempted to conquer Malacca, but unfortunately their efforts were repelled successfully. So, the actions to protect their territory Malacca established contact with the Chines empire through the explorer Zheng He, culminating in the marriage of Sultan Mansur Shah and Hang Li Poh.
